KWARA IN PERSPECTIVE

Kwara State was created on 27^th May 1967 as one of the twelve states that replaced the former four regional structure of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

It had a landmass of 60,368sq.km and a population of 4.0 million people.

With the further incidence of State creation, it now has a landmass of 34,661sq.km.
