He started petty trading at age 14 with an initial capital of 48 pounds, by 1968, he registered his first limited liability Company – Doyin investments Nigeria Limited, which under his astute management gave rise to the following companies:Global Soap and Detergent Industries Ltd, Mat Manufacturing Industries Ltd, Starco Motors Ltd, Doyin Motors Ltd, Doyin Properties and Trading Company Ltd, First City Property Ltd, Starco Ltd, Jekoyemikale Oluwa & Brothers,  Doyin Cash 'N' Carry Ltd, Doyin Pharmaceuticals Nigeria Ltd, Continental finance Ltd Stafford Chemicals Ltd, Consolidated foods and Beverages Ltd – the Doyin Group of Companies, a conglomerate whose scope of activities ranges from general merchandising, manufacturing, real property investment, motor vehicles sale and service, to financial services, with close to 4,000 Nigerians on its payroll.

Chief Emmanuel Olatunji Adesoye
Is a fellow of the Nigeria and Royal Institute of Quantity Surveyors. Member, Kwara State Industrial Development Fund and Vice Chair Kwara State Government Think Tank on Industrialization.

He is the National President of Offa Descendants Union; a socio-cultural development association of Offa indigenes at home and abroad.
